The role
The Financial Systems Specialist is responsible for owning and optimizing FP&A systems and data infrastructure, ensuring scalable, reliable, and insight-driven financial planning processes. The role enables high-quality decision- making by delivering automated workflows, robust data integrity, and actionable reporting across the business.
Working closely with FP&A and cross-functional stakeholders, this role drives system excellence, continuous improvement, and standardization of processes. As part of the Business Intelligence team, the position plays a key role in strengthening the foundation for budgeting, forecasting, and performance insights, supporting the company’s operational efficiency and growth ambitions.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage FP&A systems, ensuring they are optimized, scalable, and aligned with evolving business requirements.
- Develop and deliver Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide clear, actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Drive workflow automation and process standardization, improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across FP&A processes.
- Partner with FP&A and business stakeholders to identify, design, and implement system and process improvements.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide expert guidance to stakeholders on best practices and effective system usage.
- Build and strengthen the overall FP&A infrastructure, enabling seamless planning, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Leverage emerging technologies to enhance automation, improve workflows, and future-proof financial systems.
What you bring
- Experience with FP&A software, and having experience with Workday Adaptive Planning is a plus.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and having experience with other Power Platform Products is a plus.
- Background in FP&A with demonstrated ability to deliver insightful and impactful financial analysis.
- Solid understanding of master data management and its importance in financial systems and reporting.
- High attention to detail and a structured, thorough approach to work.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
