Nordic Regional Trainer

The Opportunity

At Hunkemöller, we believe in driving our business' success by supporting and developing our most valuable asset - our people. Our mission is to create an inclusive and dynamic work environment where every employee feels valued, empowered, and inspired to contribute to their fullest potential. By investing in our people, we foster a culture of growth and collaboration, ensuring that our teams are motivated to deliver exceptional results and create moments that matter for our customers.

We are now looking for a Regional Retail Trainer to support our Nordic stores. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a few years of training experience and a background in retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-focused industry who is ready to take the next step in their career and grow into a regional role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions to store teams both in person and virtually.
  • Conduct in-store training 3-4 days per week to strengthen selling behaviors, customer experience and product knowledge.
  • Roll out training programs while continuously improving them using feedback and insights from the field.
  • Ensure seamless knowledge transfer from training sessions into day-to-day store operations.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to training, including reports and tracking progress.
  • Analyze business and people metrics to identify skill gaps and propose effective learning solutions.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader Learning & Development team to align on training strategies and business objectives.

Who You Are

We don't expect you to tick every box, but maybe some of these sound like you?
  • Has approximately 3-5 years of experience in training, coaching or people development, ideally within retail or another customer-focused environment.
  • Brings training to life in an engaging and practical way, both in workshops and during store visits.
  • Has strong selling skills and understands how to coach others to deliver a customer-first experience.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently, with the ability to engage, motivate and influence different teams and stakeholders.
  • Is solutions-focused, creative and able to adapt training to the needs of the business and store teams.
  • Is organized and able to manage training activities independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Understands how to translate business goals into practical training solutions and connect training impact to key retail KPIs such as customer experience, conversion, member conversion and sales performance.
  • Is open to frequent travel across the Nordic countries, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland - including regular store visits, and holds a valid driver’s license.
  • Is fluent in English and has a strong command of Danish, Swedish or Norwegian.
  • Holds a qualification in Coaching, Training, Learning & Development or Retail, desirable but not essential.
