About the role
Location: Copenhagen
CrediWire builds financial intelligence products that connect accountants, businesses, and banks, turning accounting data, analysis, and technology into solutions customers hadn't envisioned themselves.
We're not looking for someone who has already held the title of Head of Product. We're looking for someone with the intellectual, financial, and personal foundation to become exceptional at it, and who can work across the entire value chain, from raw accounting data to decision support, rather than own a single stage of it.
Responsibilities
- Work across the full value chain, from raw accounting data and validation to financial reporting, analysis, and decision support.
- Engage with accountants and auditors to understand their manual workflows, and identify where they can be redesigned or supported by technology.
- Work with banks to understand which credit decisions they need to make, and what can be trusted or inferred from underlying accounting data.
- Turn financial data and analysis into product solutions, prototyping ideas quickly, for example in Excel or with AI, before involving engineering.
Background and profile
2-4 years' experience with a strong academic foundation in accounting, for example a Master's-level degree such as cand.merc.FIR Accounting & Finance, cand.merc.aud., Finance or Economics/Business Economics with substantial accounting content, or an equivalent international programme.
No single industry or title is required. Backgrounds in financial analysis, credit or risk analysis, FP&A, transaction services, auditing, accounting advisory, or product roles can all be relevant. Experience with accounting, financial reporting, financial modeling, Excel, or data analysis is a strong plus, though none of it is a hard requirement.
More than a specific background, CrediWire values intellectual horsepower: high learning velocity, genuine creativity, and a hands-on, ownership-driven approach, more than title, tenure, or people management experience.
Professional fluency in Danish is required.
