The role
As COO, you will own the operational execution and operating rhythm across the Chosen group. Your responsibility is to ensure the organisation runs efficiently across entities, enabling the CEO to focus on M&A, capital allocation, investor relations, and overall group strategy.
You will play a central role in building and scaling the group operating model across current and future portfolio companies. This includes driving operational governance, ensuring alignment across OpCos, and creating the systems, processes, and structure required to scale a multi-entity internet platform group.
The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution in a fast-moving and acquisition-driven environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive the group operating cadence, including leadership meetings, business reviews, quarterly planning, and operational follow-up
- Ensure operational alignment and accountability across all OpCos
- Support and oversee operational performance across Nexus Mods and future portfolio companies
- Lead post-acquisition operational integration of new entities, ensuring alignment to Chosen standards and operating model
- Build, refine, and implement “The Chosen Way” operating playbook across the group
- Drive organisational design and team structure in collaboration with leadership and People teams
- Ensure shared service functions effectively support all entities across the portfolio
- Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively drive improvements and scalability
- Act as a strategic operational partner to the CEO
What success looks like (12 months)

- Erfaring fra en vækstvirksomhed eller start-up er en fordel.
- Du taler og skriver flydende dansk og engelsk. Tysk er en fordel.
Your profile
- Experience as COO, MD, or senior operational leader in a PE-backed or high-growth technology company
- Experience working across multi-entity or multi-brand organisations
- Strong operational and organisational leadership skills
- Experience with post-acquisition integration and scaling operating models
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with changing priorities
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to combine strategy and execution
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work closely with founder-led leadership teams
Nice to have:
- Experience from internet, gaming, media, or digital platform businesses
- Experience building operational systems and processes from scratch
- Strong network within the European internet or gaming ecosystem
