Job Description
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background and in-depth knowledge of the German brick-and-mortar distribution landscape.
- Executing on the existing distribution network by assessing the growth potential of current retailers in the customer database and defining and implementing growth strategies for these accounts. Today approx. 80-100 customers.
- Managing and develope key accounts.
- Identifiy and onboarded new retailers by opening new distribution opportunities.
- Manage hybrid accounts operating across contract and retail channels.
Required experience and qualifications:
- Proven experience within the German furniture market.
- Demonstrated track record of building and developing a solid furniture distribution network.
- Experience in opening new distribution channels and establishing new retail partnerships.
- A well-established network within furniture distribution.
Personal Development and travel expectations:
- Plan and implement the German Business plan with Sales Director and be responsible for the execution of the strategy.
- As the business grows, there is an ambition to hire a sales representative in Germany, and this responsibility will also fall within the scope of the role.
- Travel expectations: We believe that in-person meetings make a meaningful difference in building strong relationships. At the same time, efficiency is key, and digital meetings will also be an important part of the role. The role is expected to involve approximately 5-10 traveling days a month. Participation in design fairs and industry events will be in addition to the expected travel days.
